About Chrono Trigger
Chrono Trigger, a Role-Playing Game published in 1995 for the Super Nintendo and Super Famicom, is considered by many aficionados to be one of the greatest RPG titles of all time. This epic adventure takes the hero, Crono, and his friends on an unforgettable adventure through time to save the world from an apocalyptic end at the hands of a massive, parasitic alien.
While this game is hardly considered advanced by today's standards, back in 1995 it was a one of the first games to make full use of the complete range of colors available to the Super NES's 16 bit platform as well as a battle system that took place on the same screen your characters had been running around on. It also offered a New Game + feature, which not only allowed you to replay the game with all the gear you earned before but also the chance to explore the wide range of different endings that differed depending on when you faced Lavos, the end boss. Additionally, a list of some of the most talented Anime', Manga, and Gaming names also took part in its creation such the character designs of Akira Toriyama, creator of titles such as Dragonball, Dragonball Z, Dragonball GT, and SandLand to name a few and a beautiful soundtrack composed by the talented Yasunori Mitsuda.
In 2001, Chrono Trigger was rereleased as part of Final Fantasy Chronicles for the PSX. This new version included more bonus features as you completed each ending as well as Anime Cut Scenes created by Akira Toriyama's team of animators. However, it also was prone to freezing for some people as well as being very laggy at points. I also noticed, being hopelessly obsessed with the game, that some of the sound effects simply did not sound right and that they had changed some other minor aspects. Sadly, both are now out of print and very rare, so for those interested in owning this game at this date, your hope probably lays either in emulators or purchasing it from a used game store or eBay.
About Flea
Flea (or Mayonnaise, if you prefer), is a cross-dressing Magician and a boss you first encounter on the first floor in Magus' castle.
Flea appears three times in the Chrono Series of Games. He appears twice in Chrono Trigger: Once in Magus' Castle and then again during the event in Ozzie's Fort. In Chrono Cross, he appears as something of an "Easter Egg" or as an optional, secret boss you can fight at a certain point in the game.
I always adored Flea, mainly due to his nature. After having been sheltered so long by other games, Flea was a hilarious breath of fresh air.

About The Fanlisting
WARRIOR MAGE was created December 04, 2004 by Sally Knight -
- as a Flea Fanlisting originally planned on being called CANDY HEARTS until I decided that no matter how well I tried to tie it in to Flea, it still didn't sound right.
The current design features the best picture of Flea I own, which was scanned from my copy of Nintendo Chrono Trigger™ Player's Guide © 1995 Nintendo of America Inc.
